Job Title Counsellor

What is involved in your role?
Being authentic, compassionate. Being able to challenge my clients to support them on their journey
of self-actualisation.

What is your background?
An incredible twenty-five years working in education, teaching across all key stage, SENCO (special
needs co-ordinator) and Assistant Head, as well as the Senior Mental Health Lead.

What motivates you?
Transferring my skill set from education into nurturing adults, children and young people has to be
my ‘raison de vivre’. I admire my clients; they are brave as well as inspiring. I learn so much from
each and everyone.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
Feeling as though I am on this journey with my client, navigating the bumps and lumps of life
together!

If you could send a message out to the entire world, what would it be?

In three words: ‘Wake your dreams’.
